Hi, I’m Trevor Watson.
It’s better to make something really well than to mass-produce average.
I work by myself in my small workshop on the Sunshine Coast, Australia, making only limited quantities of premium leather belts. The designs are simple yet project an image of elegance everyone can appreciate. Belts that are just as much at home in rural Australia or the city boardroom.
Using only top-tier materials and hardware sourced from around the World lets me focus on producing consistent long lasting quality, one piece at a time.
I started my trade as a timber boat builder back in the early ’70s. A time when form and function were considered inseparable.
Now, after a career spanning 50years, it’s time to focus on what I get the most enjoyment from. Setting up and running a business but the real joy comes from the making itself. As they say, “Idle hands are the devil’s plaything.”
I craft each belt the way I learned to build boats: with great care, and pride in being a part of something that will stand the test of time.
